Calatayud with it's 20 000 inhabitants is full of Moorish atmosphere. The remains of the old castle, the churches and the tiny streets are worth a visit.

Campo Daroca

Daroca with it's 2 500 inhabitants is an old and a bit trifled town. What is interesting is the city walls. In some years renovation work will hopefully make the town more attractive.  The Home Page of Campo Daroca shows many beautiful photos form Daroca and the area around.

Ayuntamiento de Sos del Rey Católico

King Ferdinand of Aragón, married  to Queen Isabella of Castilla (and Spain became one country) was born in this little town with just 1 000 inhabitants. The house where he was born, Palacio de Sada can be visited. The town isn't among the most beautiful Spanish towns, but it's nicely situated on a hill and the town's Parador offers good accommodation or a lunch on a driving tour.

Comarca de Tarazona y el Moncayo

Turiaso.com

Tarazona is located where Aragón, Navarra and Castilla y León meet. Like in many other towns in Aragón, here are buildings in Mudéjar style. There are two interesting accommodation alternatives in Tarazona. But Tarazona with it's 11 000 inhabitants do also have plenty of non attractive buildings. The Park, Parque Natural de la Dehesa del Moncayo, is located not too far from the town. The park is full of small villages and mountains. A driving tour through this park is recommended.

EXPO 2008

Zaragoza is one of Spain's biggest cities. Until 2007 it hasn't been visited by too many tourists. But like most of Spain's cities and villages, here are much interesting to find. The huge church, Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar is the most well known building.

But things are happening in Zaragoza. The new high speed train connect the city with Madrid in just 80 minutes. And in 2008 EXPO 2008 (The world exhibition of 2008) will take place in Zaragoza.
