Agüero and Riglos are two small villages, 14 km apart. As the photos show us, the nature in this area is something we don't find everywhere! When driving between these to villages, we pass by another town, called Murillo de Gállego, which is also spectacularly situated. Just about tem miles from Rilgos, we'll find Loarre with it's marvellous view from the castle ruins. There are also a good accommodation alternative in Loarre.

Visita Virtual a la Villa de Ainsa

CAI Aragón (Virtual Visit)

Ainsa is a small medieval village with 1500 inhabitants where the houses are very well maintained (a bit unlike other villages in Aragón). But during weekends and in the summer, there can be too many tourists around from the French side of the nearby border.

Huesca with it's 50 000 inhabitants is the capital of the Province. Here are some nice buildings which make the town worth a short stop. But like many other towns at this size, Huesca is too big to be a charming village and to small to be an interesting city.

Jaca with it's 12 000 inhabitants has 3 times tried to get the Olympic Winter Games. The last bid was for the 2014 Olympics, but every time they have lost. The town do have several interesting houses, but many tourists will prefer to stay in one of the smaller towns in the mountain area.
