There aren't as many interesting small towns in southern Alentejo as it is in the districts of Évora and Portalegre. But here are several very interesting hotels. And some of the towns are worth a visit. |

This former convent and now a grand hotel has been a hotel for more than one hundred years. This is like staying at one of the historical Paradors in Spain, but for a much lower price. Some of the rooms may be old fashioned, but they are comfortable and air conditioned. |

At Monte do Papa Leguas you are at an authentic, but refurbished farm just 1,5 km from the beach. If you don't want to go to the beach, the Monte do have their own pool. You are staying alongside the horses of the farm making a ride possible and you have free bicycles to your disposal! We can choose between a double room or a studio (with a kitchenette) in the old stable. This is really an interesting option! |
